this week's blog post! pretty awesome week actually (:

on monday, met with val to watch twilight and catch up which was fun (: twilight was good, but not super like WOAHHH because i didn't think robert pattinson looked all that great until the later parts where he like flew around with bella haha. VAL PHOTO PLEASE. haha!

(btw angel thinks we dont look very nice in this photo and the model in the background looks much nicer. can't deny that but ohwells haha)

TUESDAY woohoo was another movie with dear angel! haha the movie was at like 3.35, and we were supposed to meet at 2.30, but in usual fashion we were both late and promptly reached somerset at 3.34 HAHA. me because i was signing up for driving, and her cos she was making my bday thing HAHA. so yes, we obviously missed the earlier movie, so we bought tickets for the later 5.40 movie before heading to fareast for half price waffles (: where she gave me my bday thing, and this particular photo just made me like die laughing it's so embarrassing omg stupid angel. but everytime i look at the storybook (entitled "ANGEL AND THE LOVE OF HER LIFE, YIJUN") i keep laughing like an idiot to myself haha but ANGEL I LOVE YOU A LOT A LOT A LOT (: you are awesomeezzz haha. so we watched angus thongs and perfect snogging, and aaron johnson is SMOKING HOT. way better than robert pattinson. even her rejects are pretty cute, how come we dont have such handsome boys in sch ): and i remember there was just this certain point during the movie, when georgia said something, and angel and i turned to each other and nodded profusely hahahaha!

then walked around after the movie, and ended up talking outside taka for some time, before rushing home to watch our 9pm show HAHA

wed! was supposed to bake with karen but in the end her mum had to cook so cannot bake ): so we went to chinatown instead! and ate at some hawker centre. the lousy supposedly famous prawn mee isn't even that nice lor ):

and then, what's chinatown without A MASSAGE HOHOHO. but then we realised i was wearing the wrong shoes (inside joke) and after karen laughing at me for nearly a whole five minutes we decided to go for a shoulder massage instead haha!

then after that had to go for some family friend's party, but managed to escape like a hour later to go to lina's house for her xmas party instead. sang some carols, before jolyn her and i escaped to her room for our movie marathon!

watched anastasia and mulan and sang along with gusto HAHA, and then lina's family brought me to church the next morning, before we went back to her house to watch she's the man and LOVE ACTUALLY, which is the mandatory christmas movie i guess.

boxing day! woke up at 3, before macey called me out to play tennis, so played with jarrod against her and her friend and we won 6-0 hohoho (:

then went out to city hall to meet rach(: and we had a nice time at out of the pan catching up, since the last time we really talked was during the very memorable train ride in india haha

and today! was another tennis date hahaha. was supposed to have a rematch with the kangs vs. the tans haha but walter was there, so i partnered him instead and played my brother and jarrod. omg damn freaking tiring haha cos it was such a close game, so many deuces and in the end walter and i won YAY 7-6 (7-5) DAMN CLOSE! haha and angel thinks i'm good cos my team always seems to win HAHA but maybe i just have good partners hahahaa. then after that walter left and we continued playing, before having dinner and dessert yumz.

BIRTHDAY POST!

haha okay shoutouts first, to summarize the past 1.5 weeks (:

1. thanks karen angel oli shiya val fifi bong for the night before my bday at dempsey, the dinner treat at HOUSE and for the really adorable underwear

2. to the brothers for the really er artistic (?) attempt at a birthday card haha (:

3. NO THANKS to baby for eating up 1/3 of my cake (see pic above) but thanks to daddy for RECREATING the cake haha

4. thanks sabrina lina rach anna gaygan pok nicole michy shoo for the surprise (sort of haha) on the 14th and dinner treat at whisk, esp sabrina and lina for organising it

OKAY. starts now.touched down on 13th morning and slacked away, before going out at night to meet some touchruggers. karen was being all secretive and wouldn't tell me where we were going, but in the end told me to meet at orchard cos we were cabbing to dempsey! haha they booked this place called house, which is really huge and the food's not bad but quite ex! haha but the highlight of the night was prob the 1 metre long sausage, served in a one metre long metal tray, which was my birthday sausage haha! but it was awesome seeing everyone after so long, and they er bought me really cute underwear and treated me to dinner haha! and then went b&js later where i treated them cos felt bad from being treated for dinner haha! but yay thanks karen, angel, val, oli, shiya, bong, fifi! (: it started making me feel really happy about birthday!

14th! actual bday, as usual woke up very late. haha but THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR WISHES, advanced, punctual and belated, sms, msn, outings or facebook.

i think birthdays just make you feel really quite happy and loved! anyway spent the afternoon watching video from greece, which was really hilarious, before cutting cake with the family! then going out for dinner with sec1-4 classmates, THANK YOU SABRINA AND LINA for planning it (: (: haha it was a mini rg gathering but really fun nonetheless! had dinner at whisk and drinks at balcony (where pok + waiter= FUNNYY) haha! and had a nice time just catching up with a lot of ppl we havent seen in ages (okay not very applicable to everyone) but yay got balloon from pokkers! my cinderella in carriage one (:

went out with the cousin first in the afternoon on monday to shop, before going to orchard later on for dinner. went wheelock and tried the new pasta place that replaced sakae (but is still run by sakae!) which was yummy and nice except for the embarrassment at the cashier haha

tues! went to sch cos was supposed to go for training, but training was cancelled and no one told us! so toffa and angel and i were stranded ): but nice ali and enghow lent us their racquets for a while so we played tennis for a while instead. before toffa went home and angel and i went to macs to catch up YAYY (: after a whole week of being in greece

wed! went out shopping with family in the afn before going for birthday family dinner which was yums(:

thurs! OMG EXCITING! jiaks and i finally had our long awaited date to check out the hsm merchandise at taka. and we were so excited about everything, from the karaoke set to the ddr set, to curtains which play music when you walk through them, that aunties, kids and the salesgirl all laughed at us ): but we bought quite a lot of stuff yay (:

ate at toast twice haha once for lunch and once for tea, before going to her house, where we were SUPPOSED to play tennis. but we got distracted by her sister's friend's ADORABLE kid so we ended up playing with him and played only 15 minutes of tennis heh

and haha they bought cake for me, but i er kinda ruined the surprise by going: EH YOU WENT TO NECTARIE? what did you buy!, to which sabrina replied : IT'S A CAKE FOR YOU -.- haha but yay thanks anyway (: think you all must have been the best outcome of orientation this year(:

friday was slack at home day, met cherylw on saturday. i think i love birthdays and holidays for the sole reason that you get an excuse to meet up with everyone again, even if you haven't seen them in like, a year? and yet when we meet and talk, we can pick up so easily from where we left off, as if no time had passed at all!

sunday! my brother and i played tennis with macey and jarrod, and it was really fun! i think my brother is really quite good now, cos we won HAHA and then after that the brothers had to leave, so macey brought me to old kallang airport food centre for my bday treat (: yummy hawker food ftw!
